Unicef stories

Khanga Rue Media has created many films documenting Unicef’s work across a range of issues affecting Tanzania’s children.  Our films have been featured around the world, and one in particular, “Kulwa’s Story” garnered over 3 million views online.

“Why three siblings fled Burundi violence to camp in Tanzania”  was filmed on the field at the Nyarugusu camp for refugees in Kigoma.  It tells the story of Mariama, a 16 year old girl and her younger siblings whom after losing both parents, fled to Tanzania to escape the violence.
