Challenge

Across much of SSA, last mile medical supply chains are staffed by health workers with little business management skills. How might we strengthen supply chains by improving the management skills of this vital workforce?

Outcome

We created a digital video platform, “Delivering Better Health” with 14 easy-to-follow learning modules that could be accessible online or via whatsapp.

Overview

“Deliver Better Health” is a content learning platform designed for Kenya and Botswana, in collaboration with Empower University and JnJ GPH, designed to train end-of-the-line healthcare professionals on better pharmaceutical and medical supply chain management skills.  The platform currently has over 14 classes to accompany courses on a range of skills such as inventory management, data collection, cold-storage, etc. This launched in 2023.
