Challenge
How might we elevate tiko as a brand that is still viewed, understood, and engaged with as a typical NGO in Sub-Saharan Africa?
Outcome
We designed a complete overhaul of the Tiko brand, creating a new brand architecture and a new brand purpose to match its innovative approach to SRH.
Overview
Tiko is an innovative, technology-driven platform that gives young people free access to healthcare, skill and job training, and other necessary resources to take control of their lives. However, tiko as a brand, was still viewed, understood, and engaged with as a typical NGO in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Approach
We redesigned the Tiko brand identity, shifting the playground from health, NGO, and sexual health, to a lifestyle, membership and product oriented brand with a new positioning line: “Do more with tiko”. We also created a social content launch kit, a new app design, and training content for their network of mobilizers.
A series featuring fresh, fun and relatable content about the ins and outs of having a safe, healthy sex life.
Much of the content from the Sister Pack is repackaged through short, punchy, TikTok style tutorial and testimonials by former TAA youth leaders and other young girls.

A library of stories that educate on contraceptive methods that can be used amongst the target audience: Injection, the Pill, IUD, Implants, Emergency Contraceptives and Abstinence
